There are several organizations that support Revolutionary War preservation in our area. Becoming an active member in one of these groups is one of the most effective ways to get organizations involved with with preservation efforts. Social media is also a great way to keep on top of preservation news, and for voicing your support for preservation. With the prevalence of smart phones, preservation can be readily accomplished right through the palms of your hand. The most effective preservation efforts seem to have been through the attendance at public meetings and contacting your elected representatives at every level of local, state, and federal government. The Veterans of America have fought so that you may have a voice, so we encourage that you use that voice, vote, and become involved with your local community...

Kudos to your team for using alt media to speak the truth of this important local historic site! One thing that current preservation groups have that groups just a decade ago didn't have is social media. The legacy media tries to control the narrative just like Greg Lane of Next Generation Strategies, who works for the developer to demonize preservationist efforts and distort the true history of the Fishkill Supply Depot. There are alot of Veterans and Hudson Valley residents that need to be told the truth about this developer and this historic site.
I have supported this project for several years and I will continue to do so. Creating a park at this Historic Site would be an economic boast to local tourism, create much needed park and green space, and would be the right thing to do to honor the true history of the Town of Fishkill.
I am on board. Let me know what I can do to help!?!
